1. Our Privacy Commitment

• check_circle Growth Tracker is designed to be offline-first and privacy-preserving. We do not operate any server, backend, or cloud service that receives your data.
• check_circle We do not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal identifier to use the app.
• check_circle All information you enter stays on your device and is under your control at all times.

2. Information Stored on Your Device

• check_circle Child profiles: names or nicknames, date of birth, and gender that you choose to enter.
• check_circle Measurement records: height, weight, notes, timestamps, and any photos you attach.
• check_circle Calculated values such as age and BMI, derived locally from the data you provide.
• check_circle App preferences such as theme (light/dark) and reminder settings.

3. Data We Do NOT Collect

• check_circle We do not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share any personal data with us or any third party.
• check_circle We do not use analytics, advertising, tracking SDKs, or fingerprinting.
• check_circle We do not access your contacts, location, microphone, or accounts.
• check_circle No data ever leaves your device unless you explicitly export it yourself.

4. Device Permissions

• check_circle Storage / Photos: only used when you choose to attach an image to a measurement or import/export a backup file. Access is on-demand and limited to files you select.
• check_circle Notifications: only used to deliver the local measurement reminders you enable. Reminders are scheduled on-device and contain no personal data.
• check_circle You can revoke any permission at any time in your device's system settings.

5. Data Backup and Export

• check_circle You may export your data to a JSON file for backup or device migration. This file is created by you, stored where you choose, and is your responsibility to protect.
• check_circle Any file you share, upload, or sync (for example via email or a third-party cloud drive) leaves the protection of the app and becomes subject to that service's privacy practices.

6. Children's Privacy

• check_circle Growth Tracker is a tool intended for use by parents and guardians to record information about their own children. It is not directed at children as end users.
• check_circle Because all data remains on the parent's device and is never transmitted to us, we do not knowingly collect any information from children.
• check_circle You, as the parent or guardian, are the sole controller of the data you enter and are responsible for handling it in accordance with applicable law.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

• check_circle Your data persists on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app.
• check_circle You can delete individual records, entire child profiles, or all app data at any time from within the app.
• check_circle Uninstalling the app removes its locally stored data from your device (except any backup files you saved elsewhere).

8. Security

• check_circle Data is stored within the app's private storage area provided by the Android operating system.
• check_circle No transmission or storage method is 100% secure; because your data stays local, its security also depends on your device's own protection (screen lock, encryption, and keeping the OS up to date).

9. Changes to This Policy

• check_circle We may update this policy to reflect changes to the app or legal requirements. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.

1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using Growth Tracker, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Growth Tracker for your own personal, non-commercial family record-keeping.

3. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter, for safeguarding your device and any backup files you create, and for using the app in compliance with applicable laws.

4. No Medical Advice

Growth Tracker does not provide medical, diagnostic, or professional health advice. All content and calculations are for general informational and record-keeping purposes only and must not be relied upon as a substitute for professional medical judgment.

5. Provided “As Is”

The app is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of reference data.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, zDevTool shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app, including any loss of data. Because your data is stored locally, you are responsible for maintaining your own backups.

7. Changes and Termination

We may update the app or these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. You may stop using the app and uninstall it at any time.
